Uxbridge - Evelyn (Comolli) Wheelock, 94, of Uxbridge died Sat. Feb. 18, 2012 in Medway Country Manor, Medway. She was the wife of the late Walter T. Wheelock who died in 1979.

She was born in Milford on Sept. 8, 1917 the daughter of the late Victor and Isolina (Merlo) Comolli and was raised in Milford.

A longtime resident of Uxbridge, she took great pride in her home and family and was active in her community. She loved to travel, was a collector of antiques, and a great bargain hunter.

Mrs. Wheelock is survived by her sister Irene Celeste of Milford and many nieces and nephews that she affectionately shared her life with including Janet Ankerson, Donna Comolli, Michael Celeste, Tara Andreola, Ellen Ann Smith, Susan Davoren, Paula Stanton, Peter Trusevitch, David Trusevitch, Lisa Conrad, Rhea Comolli, Victor Comolli, Stephen Comolli, Strickland Wheelock, Arthur Wheelock, Jerry Wheelock, Philip Wheelock, Warren Wheelock and Richard Wheelock and their spouses and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings Hank “Camelli” Comolli, Everett Comolli, Eleanor Davoren, Pauline Trusevitch and Victor Comolli and nephew Robert Trusevitch and niece Susan Hicks.
