North Uxbridge – Pearl M. (Oram) Goosney, 96, of Rivulet St. died Wed., March 14, 2012 in Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center, Northbridge. She was the wife of the late John C. Goosney who died in 1974.

Mrs. Goosney was employed for the former Stacy Lynn Draperies in Northbridge for 20 years.

She was born February 3, 1916 in Green’s Pond, Newfoundland, Canada, the daughter of the late Horatio and Edith Mae (King) Oram.

Mrs. Goosney was a longtime member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Whitinsville where she was a member of the Altar Guild. She enjoyed knitting and had been a resident of Uxbridge for over 50 years.

Mrs. Goosney is survived by two daughters, Loretta and her husband Kenneth McClure of Tolland, CT and Doreen and her husband Darryl Caputo of Cambridge, NY; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by one daughter Marie Mateer, four brothers and one sister.

A Burial and Celebration of Life service will be held Mon. March 19, 2012 at 1 PM in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 33 Linwood Ave., Whitinsville, MA 01588.

Burial will be at a later date. There are no public visiting hours.
