Bellingham – Vernon P. Bish, 74, of Bellingham died Thursday April 19, 2012 at home. He was the husband of Catherine L. (Beaudoin) Tondreau Bish.

Mr. Bish was employed as a Lead Security Guard for the BJ’s Wholesale Club Distribution Center in Uxbridge for 18 years. He previously worked for the Sunoco Service Station on Route 140, Milford and as a truck driver for the former Axton-Cross Co. in Holliston.

He was born Sept. 16, 1937 in Horton Township, PA, son of the late Galen E. and Martha E. (Hines) Bish.

Mr. Bish was an enthusiastic NASCAR racing fan and enjoyed camping with his family.

In addition to his wife Catherine, he is survived by a daughter Marsha R. Bish of Bellingham; a son Vernon P. Bish, Jr. of Cumberland, RI; a brother Gerald Bish of Georgia; three sisters, Arlene Bish and Elnora Arnold both of Tennessee and Esther Bish of MI and 19 grandchildren including Tyler V. Bish and Brian E. Bish, both of Bellingham; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Harold Bish.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
